The core brands Rabenhorst and Rotbäckchen have impressed once again in 2020, taking numerous accolades and awards
With its two core brands Rabenhorst and Rotbäckchen, Haus Rabenhorst is synonymous with the natural enjoyment of high-quality fruit and vegetable juices made from selected ingredients. At the same time, the focus is on sustainable, natural action when it comes to making economic decisions. Both the product quality and the company's philosophy are bearing fruit in 2020: With numerous accolades from the food industry but also from media partners and other institutions, this traditional family-run company based in Unkel am Rhein has received a lot of positive feedback.
Sustainability as the core of everything we do
Haus Rabenhorst has been combining holistic principles into its high-quality juices for over 120 years. In this context, sustainable action refers to all fruit and vegetable growers, suppliers and supply chains, as well as to all the company's own processes and the basic infrastructure. In addition, the comprehensive protection of natural habitats is just as important to Haus Rabenhorst as being close to nature: Since autumn 2018, several apple collection points have been set up around the company's head office in the Middle Rhine region every year during the apple harvesting season for the purpose of promoting the management of the region's orchards. This approach and corporate philosophy have now borne fruit in the shape of numerous awards in 2020: In March 2020 the business magazine FOCUS, in collaboration with Deutschland Test, recognised the company with the rating "Very Strong" in the "Sustainable Engagement" category. BILD followed in June 2020 with the "Very High Approval Rating" award in the "Highly Sustainable" category. Most recently, in July 2020, STERN in collaboration with YouGov voted us one of the "Green Brands of the Year" and awarded us 1st place in the "Beverages category.
The highest level of product quality
And that's not all: Besides accolades for our sustainable and natural corporate philosophy as a whole, it is above all the fruit and vegetable juices made by the juice experts from the Rhine region that have made a particular impression. For the Rotbäckchen brand, besides the "German Brand Award for Special Marketing Strategy" in 2020, the brand was also chosen by FREUNDIN magazine as a "2020 Brand Favourite" in the "Juices" product category. The favourite brands of women in Germany were identified through an extensive survey, with the magazine's readers having a choice of over 4,000 brands. In 2020, FOCUS too has already chosen Rotbäckchen as one of the Customers' Everyday Favourites.
And the Rabenhorst brand has in no way been outdone in that respect: In April 2020, Haus Rabenhorst was awarded the DLG Long-Term Product Quality Prize in recognition of the quality of Rabenhorst juices, which has remained reliable for many years. This prize is reserved for companies that have always been awarded at least three of the coveted DLG awards in five successive years, and also honours special product quality. In November 2019 Haus Rabenhorst was for the ninth time awarded the National Award for Special Product Quality, the highest accolade of the German food industry for outstanding product quality. On the product side, the new Enjoy Health range will be the focus in 2020: The multi-fruit direct juice Rabenhorst Wohlfühlen mit Eisen ("Rabenhorst Wellbeing with Iron") has made a big impression here. The NATÜRLICH health magazine named Rabenhorst Wohlfühlen mit Eisen the NATÜRLICH Readers' 2020 Favourite, and the magazine LEBENSMITTEL PRAXIS also named it one of the Products of the Year. Rabenhorst Wohlfühlen mit Eisen has also impressed as a Health Food Product of the Year, a title bestowed by the editorial team of REFORMHAUS MAGAZINE.
